ASHA-ICAHM Workshop – ICOMOS GA2023

The International Committee on Archaeological Heritage Management (ICAHM) and the Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology (ASHA) are happy to announce that they will be co-hosting a workshop as an official side event of the ICOMOS GA 2023 in Sydney.

The ASHA-ICAHM 1 day Workshop will be held at The Big Dig Archaeology Resource Centre, The Rocks, Sydney on 1 September 2023. The workshop will be followed by a drinks reception on the Rooftop Terrace of the YHA, the Rocks, Sydney (next door). The workshop is sponsored by ASHA, ICAHM and Whincop Archaeology and is open to all. Attendance is free for ASHA and ICAHM members, and for those registered for the ICOMOS GA 2023.

Abstracts: If you would like to present at the ASHA-ICAHM Workshop, the scientific committee welcomes abstracts (100-300 words) on the following themes:

  • ICAHM Theme 1: Illicit Trafficking
  • ICAHM Theme 2: Archaeological Heritage Management in a Postcolonial World
  • ASHA Theme 3: Archaeology

Presentations are to be 20 mins in length; the language of the conference is English.
