Sydney Historical Archaeology Practitioners Workshop

Artefact Heritage Services is proud to host the latest edition of SHAP – the Sydney Historical Archaeology Practitioners Workshop.

The theme of the 2023 Sydney Historical Archaeology Practitioners workshop is ‘Something New’ – recent historical archaeological discoveries and innovations.

A dynamic program of speakers is currently being curated featuring heritage professionals from both government and private consultancy firms who will share their latest findings with the wider archaeological community. Hear about discoveries from new dig sites, the latest research findings, site data, new technologies and recording techniques.

This one-day event includes the workshop, lunch, morning and afternoon tea and the famous archaeology bake-off.

When: 8.45am to 6pm, Friday 26 May 2023

Cost: $95, $70 (ASHA, AACAI, AAA, ICOMOS, NT members), $35 (Student and Indigenous). Price includes all sessions, morning tea, afternoon tea, lunch and a complimentary drink at the evening event.
