Saturday 22/4/23 Peninsula Room, National Museum of Australia 9.30am-12.30pm
Join our panelists provided by the Canberra Archaeology Society – Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology, in partnership with National Museum of Australia, as they explore issues in both contemporary and past archaeology related to hidden, unrecognised, forgotten, unknown or untold stories. Hear about how old and new stories are being recovered/discovered through collaborative archaeological investigations, undertaken with owners, knowledge holders and communities where available, and how archaeologists are helping stories to be identified, emerge and be shared. There will be four interesting speakers followed by a Q&A panel. Please see the flyer below.
This annual event is part of the ACT and Region Heritage Festival.
Admission by gold coin donation.
