The ASHA community has a number of communication channels available to them.
For all inquiries about ASHA, membership or payments, please contact the Society’s Secretary via email ([email protected]) or mail to the following addresses:
Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology
GPO Box 2663
Sydney NSW 2001
Australia
The Australasian Society for Historical Archaeology has contacts in each state and in New Zealand, Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Papua New Guinea. Contact your Regional Representative here.
If you would like to email an individual committee member, please head to the Committee page to view contact details and individual Committee member roles. If you have questions about who you should speak with, please email the ASHA Secretary at [email protected].
Content is circulated to the ASHA community via a moderated email subscription list managed by Flinders University. Details about the list and to subscribe/unsubscribe can be found at https://lists.flinders.edu.au/mailman/listinfo/asha. Note that ASHA members are not automatically subscribed to this list, and the list is open to anyone in the ASHA community (whether you are a member or not). Anyone is able to post content to this list by emailing [email protected].
If you email this list, your message, if approved, will be sent out directly to those on the list (so write the email directly to the subscribers and ensure all relevant information is included in your email). Please note there will be a delay in sending out messages until moderators can approve content. The ASHA committee also uses this list to promote ASHA events, the annual conference and membership updates. If you would prefer the message to be sent by ASHA on your behalf, please email the ASHA Secretary with your request.
Current or recently lapsed members will also receive membership emails, AGM and conference information directly from the Secretary through the Society’s website backend. You can review the contact email for this from the membership renewal page through our website here.
For queries about purchasing publications or to check on the progress of an order, please contact ASHA’s Secretary.
For information about contributing to ASHA’s publications, contact the General Editors and Reviews Editor of Australasian Historical Archaeology, or the online Blog Editor.
If you have something to share through ASHA, please use our general Media contact.
