A ‘ghost’ advertising sign of Peapes menswear store has been uncovered in Wynyard, Sydney as the building next to it was demolished. ARTEFACT OF THE MONTH: ‘The Hated Stain’

During a three day meeting, the Canterbury Synod has made the decision to restore the Christchurch Cathedral which was damaged during the 2011 earthquakes. The Heritage Listed QANTAS hangar at Longreach has turned 95. The hangar was where QANTAS first began it’s operations, and is now the location of the QANTAS Founders Museum. The Museum hosted a morning tea to celebrate the hangars birthday, which was added to the Register in 2009.
